In a recent project a branch offices virtualization hardware was replaced with a VMware Cloud on AWS instance and all virtual machines were migrated to the Cloud vSphere Data Center. I took the chance to book the official VMware training “VMware Cloud on AWS: Deploy and Manage 2019”. It was a 3 day live online course.

Preparation

The only preparation I had was working with the VMConAWS environment in the ongoing project, going through the 5V0-31.19 VMware Cloud on AWS Management Exam blueprint and sitting the training I mentioned before.

Experience

I took the exam right after the course. It was a 30 question, non proctored online exam. It was a very fair exam matching most of the fundamental parts from the exam blueprint.
